WHO WE ARE
An Architectural Products Company That Starts With the Drawing
HB Design Driven is an architectural products company based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. We design, manufacture and install GFRC, GFRP, architectural metal, cast marble, cast polymer and engineered stone products for facades and interiors, working with architects, contractors, developers and homeowners in Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Lahore, Sargodha, Abbottabad, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta.
Rather than working as a pure fabricator, we are involved from the design and detailing stage through to manufacturing and on-site installation. A project team gets one point of contact for material selection, shop drawings, mould making and finished-panel delivery, instead of coordinating separately with a designer, a factory and an installation crew.
That single point of contact also makes it easier to change a detail mid-project. The team that drew the detail is the same team casting, fabricating and fixing it, so dimensions, finishes and mounting methods are worked out against the real building and carried straight into moulds and shop drawings.
OUR APPROACH
What “Design Driven” Means for Your Project
The name describes how we work: design decisions come first, and production follows them.
01 · DETAIL FIRST
Details resolved before production
Panel layouts, joints, fixings, finishes and tolerances are agreed on shop drawings before a mould is made or a sheet is cut, which keeps changes cheap and site surprises rare.
02 · ONE POINT OF CONTACT
One team from drawing to site
Material selection, shop drawings, manufacturing, delivery and installation are coordinated together, so responsibility is clear when something needs to change.
03 · BUILT TO YOUR DRAWINGS
Made for the building, not the catalogue
Custom profiles, curves and repeating panels are developed from architects’ drawings, rather than forcing an off-the-shelf product into a space it was not designed for.
LEADERSHIP
Our Team and Leadership
HB Design Driven is led by Muhammad Ahmad, Architectural Designer and CEO, who leads design and real-time project execution. Having a designer at the head of the company shapes how projects are run: drawings are read the way an architect reads them, and site questions are answered by someone who understands why a detail was drawn that way.
That design-led leadership is why we spend time on early coordination, from comparing materials to confirming fixing methods, before production begins.

OUR FACILITY
Production Capabilities Under One Roof
Working in-house across several materials means one project can combine facade elements and interior surfaces without juggling multiple suppliers.
MOULDS
Mould making
Patterns and moulds are prepared from approved drawings, so repeated panels and custom profiles match across the whole batch.
CASTING
GFRC and GFRP casting
Cement-based and resin-based composites are cast and finished into cladding, cornices, column covers and decorative elements.
SURFACES
Cast marble and engineered stone
Vanity tops, shower walls, sills and countertops are cast or fabricated to the dimensions on the drawing.
METAL
Architectural metal fabrication
Facade panels, screens, railings and column covers are cut, formed, welded and finished to specification.

QUALITY
How We Approach Quality, Safety and Sustainability
Finished pieces are checked against the project’s shop drawings before they are packaged for delivery, and each piece is labelled to match the installation drawing set so it can be placed in sequence on site.
Fabricating fibre composites, cast polymers and engineered stone produces dust and fumes, so careful workshop practice and protective equipment matter as much as the finished product. Reusable moulds also reduce waste across repeating panels, which is one reason cast systems suit large, repetitive facades.
We do not claim certifications we have not been awarded. If your specification requires particular test reports or standards compliance, tell us early and we will confirm what is available before you commit.

WHO WE WORK WITH
Clients and Sectors We Serve
Different clients need different information at different stages. We adjust how a project is scoped and communicated.
Architects and design consultants
Early technical information, finish samples and shop drawings that can be checked against a specification before a product is locked in.
Contractors and developers
Confirmed lead times, delivery windows, lifting access and a clear plan for how panels and cast pieces fit the programme.
Homeowners and interior designers
Guidance on material, finish and a realistic installation timeline for vanity tops, feature walls, countertops and decorative details.
Our Story
About Our Company and Why We Started
HB Design Driven began with a simple idea: architects deserve a manufacturing partner who understands design as well as production. Based in Faisalabad, we set out to make precast, moulded and fabricated architectural elements that match the drawing precisely and arrive on time. Today we serve architects, contractors, developers and homeowners across Pakistan.
If you are wondering about our background, the company grew from hands-on work with facades, ornament and interior features. Learning about real site problems taught us how drawings translate into buildings, and that knowledge shapes every product we make. It is also why we stress early coordination, accurate shop drawings and honest programmes.
People often ask about the materials we use. Our range includes glass fibre reinforced concrete, glass fibre reinforced polymer, cast marble, cast polymer, engineered stone and architectural metal. Each material has a role, and we explain where it performs best so clients can decide with confidence rather than guesswork.
Another question is about scale. We handle small villa details as carefully as large commercial packages. A single decorative column receives the same inspection as a full elevation, and the same project manager approach applies to both. That consistency is what builds long-term relationships with the people who work with us.

Our Team
About Our Leadership and Craftspeople
The company is led by Muhammad Ahmad, an architectural designer and CEO who is closely involved in drawings, samples and client discussions. His design background means he reads plans as an architect would, spotting buried problems and suggesting practical alternatives before production begins. This leadership style keeps decisions grounded in how buildings are actually made.
Behind him is a team of pattern makers, casters, fabricators, finishers, drivers and installers. Each person has a specific skill, and together they turn drawings into finished elements. We invest in training and encourage staff to raise questions early, because a small concern on the workshop floor is much cheaper to fix than a defect on a finished facade.
Clients sometimes ask about our approach to quality. The answer is documented inspection at every stage: materials on arrival, moulds before use, units after demoulding, finishes before packing and installation after fixing. Records are kept, so we can show what was done and learn from every project.
We also care about safety. Workshops are organised, equipment is maintained, and site crews follow clear method statements with appropriate protective gear. Safe working is not only a legal duty, it is the foundation of consistent quality, because a calm, well-run team makes fewer mistakes.
If you would like to hear more about our people or discuss a project, get in touch and we will arrange a call or a visit.
Our Approach
About How We Work With Clients
Our approach starts with listening. We read the brief, review the drawings and ask questions about the building, the budget and the schedule. Then we suggest materials, profiles and finishes that suit the design intent. This conversation usually improves the project, because it combines the architect’s vision with our practical manufacturing knowledge.
Transparency is central. Quotations are itemised, programmes are realistic and changes are documented. If something cannot be done, we say so and propose an alternative. Clients tell us that this honesty is what they value most, especially when a project is complex and the margin for error is small.
Collaboration continues through delivery. We invite consultants to inspect samples and workshop progress, share photographs and test records, and coordinate with the main contractor about access and sequence. Learning about each stakeholder’s needs lets us avoid conflicts and keep the programme moving smoothly.
After handover, we remain available. Our team can advise about cleaning, repair and future extensions, and we keep moulds and records so matching units can be supplied later. This long view reflects our belief that good architecture lasts for decades and deserves support for just as long.
For a detailed explanation of each stage, see our manufacturing and installation pages.

About the Wider Architectural Industry
The architectural products industry is changing quickly. Lighter materials, digital design tools and better coating technology are making complex shapes easier to build, while clients expect shorter programmes and clearer environmental credentials. We follow these trends closely and adopt techniques that improve accuracy, safety and sustainability.
Readers who want background about precast construction can consult the precast concrete article on Wikipedia, and industry bodies such as the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute publish technical guidance. These resources help consultants understand what is possible and how to specify it clearly.
We welcome questions from architects, students and homeowners who want to learn more about what we do. Whether you are planning a house, a commercial tower or a restoration, we are happy to talk through options and share what we have learned. Contact us today and let us help bring your design to life.
Our Commitments
About the Promises We Make to Every Client
We promise clear communication. Every client knows who is responsible for their project, how to reach that person and when to expect updates. Questions are answered promptly, and decisions are written down so that nothing is forgotten. This habit prevents most of the misunderstandings that slow construction.
We promise accurate work. Drawings are checked, moulds are inspected, units are measured and installation is supervised. If something does not meet the agreed standard, we correct it at our own cost. Accountability is simple when the same team handles manufacturing and fixing, because there is nobody else to blame.
We promise fair pricing. Quotations explain what is included and what is not, and variations are agreed before work proceeds. Clients can ask us about any line in the price and receive a straightforward answer. Over many years, this openness has proved more valuable than clever negotiation.
We promise responsible conduct. That means safe working, respect for neighbours, careful use of materials and support for the local workforce. Building is a long-term activity, and the way we treat people and places is part of the legacy we leave behind with each completed facade.
Finally, we promise to keep learning about better methods. New moulds, mixes and fixing details are tested in the workshop before they reach a client’s building, and lessons from each project feed back into our standard procedures.

Responsibility
About Our Approach to Sustainability and Community
Responsible production is part of how we work. Accurate batching and mould reuse reduce waste, offcuts are recycled where possible, and packaging is designed to protect products without excess material. Lightweight systems also cut transport emissions and lessen the structural steel and concrete needed in the building frame.
Durability is the most effective form of sustainability. A facade that lasts decades without replacement uses far fewer resources than one that must be renovated early. That is why we focus on correct mixes, proper curing, quality coatings and sound fixing details, and why we offer clear maintenance guidance at handover.
We also support the local community by creating skilled jobs and training young craftspeople in modern casting, fabrication and installation techniques. Skilled workers produce better buildings and build stronger businesses, and investing in them is an investment in the quality of everything we deliver to our clients.
